Family fun activities can include anything from a day out at an amusement park or mall or a day trip to a science fair or space/children’s/science/art/history museum to taking up family pottery lessons or picnicking on the beach or scuba diving in the turquoise waters of a tropical island destination.
For fun activity ideas close to home, you can play karaoke or name that song/movie, thirty second spotlight, neat and nifty names, riddle games, family memory game, family ABC game and know thy neighbor games.
The best way to spice up a lazy weekend afternoon is to teach your kids how to barbeque on the outdoor BBQ grill and then cool off in the backyard pool with the dog/s in tow after a round of soccer or baseball. Taking up family arts and crafts classes where you learn to make something new as a team can be a fun learning experience. And if none of these appeals to you, a fun movie day followed by a taco night or serving at the local animal shelter will perk up all your spirits.
